Our commitment

evermoves is committed to making our website, member app and admin platform usable by everyone, including people with disability, older adults, and people managing injuries — a group directly relevant to a movement and wellness service. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the standard recommended by the Australian Human Rights Commission for compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

What we do

Semantic HTML and native interactive elements first; ARIA only to fill gaps.
Colour contrast of at least 4.5:1 for body text, with visible keyboard focus indicators.
Full keyboard operability across booking, checkout, account and admin flows — no keyboard traps.
Touch targets sized for mobile and tablet use throughout the member app.
Respect for prefers-reduced-motion and prefers-color-scheme (dark mode) where the platform supports it.
Loading, empty, error and success states on every asynchronous screen so assistive technology users always know what happened.
Alt text on meaningful images; icons paired with accessible labels.

Known limitations

Some third-party embedded content (Spotify player, Google Maps, Instagram feed, Stripe checkout and Mux video widgets) is controlled by those providers and may not fully conform; we choose providers with strong accessibility track records where possible. We continue to improve our own pages and welcome feedback.
